My experience

3 years experience in PR
From starting out in Digital PR at an agency in 2022, I quickly came to realise how fun and creative you can be in PR. I then went on to work with the large nursery provider, Bright Horizons, in traditional PR before establishing my business Saskia Fryer PR.

Working for one of the largest nursery providers
From 2023 I handled the PR for around 300 of Bright Horizons nurseries, along with working towards promoting their charity, The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children. I worked on leading the PR projects for their nurseries and charity and built good relationships with journalists in the trade media.

3 years in Journalism
I studied journalism for three years before working as a freelance reporter for Bauer Media. I've had the great privilege of being able to gain work experience at BBC Radio Nottingham and The Greatest Hits Radio Station for Yorkshire. Being a journalist first has been a great help and insight into what makes good PR.

Secured radio opportunities
Having worked heavily on the local PR for Bright Horizons and working with community reporters, I've been able to help individual nurseries be featured on their local BBC radio shows to promote their services in their local area.
Helped to increase a clients website traffic by 57% within my first two months of working on their account
I have helped gain coverage in top tier publications for my clients, these include: Ideal Home, LBC, and i News
